We will be using the garden of Claridge House for inspiration but if you have a particular image you would like make do bring it with you. Simple black and white images are best to start with and need to fit onto a 15x10cm carving block.
All materials are supplied and cutting tools and blocks can be purchased if you would like to experiment at home.
Do bring an apron or some protection for your clothes as we will be using water soluble printing ink.
Apart from your prints, you will have notes to take home that outline each process, a little about its history and list of equipment we have used.
Di Drummond is a local artist. Her figurative and abstract paintings, prints and drawings reflect her interest in the landscape. She also gets distracted by the huge variety of mediums and processes that can be used to make art!
She has exhibited in group exhibitions in Kent and Sussex, including Turner Contemporary and run pop-up galleries with an artists’ collective in Tunbridge Wells.
If you wish to stay longer, or start your stay earlier, please contact us about availability.
