A Vibrancy In Meetings Event, Planned With Input From Elders

  • Tutor: Carrie Comfort
  • Start Date: Thursday 27th June, 10:00
  • End Date: Thursday 27th June, 17:00
  • Non-Residential Price: £ 35.00 per person

This retreat has already started, if you would still like to take part then please contact us.

Who is it for? We’re glad to note that aspects of eldership and spiritual nurture can be done by anyone in a meeting and want to nurture all Friends who are undertaking this service and those who may be preparing to. This means appointed elders, Friends in meetings with shared eldership and Friends who have an interest in eldership but are not appointed (both members and attenders are warmly welcomed).

Purpose: Friends often talk about the challenges of:
· Helping Friends learn about our Quaker faith and processes
· Helping newer Friends become more involved
· And of helping Friends progress in their spiritual journeys

This day aims to share ideas and experiences about how eldership can help Friends foster these changes.

Cost: £35 per person, if you are from one of the five Vibrancy pilot areas (East Kent, West Kent, Sussex East, Sussex West & West Weald) your costs will be paid directly to Claridge House by your AM treasurer.
