I’ve been a student of yoga for over twenty five years and continue to study and be mentored on my own journey. I’ve picked up gems of wisdom along the way and my teaching comes with a passion to share what I’ve learnt. The Alexander Technique is a learned skill which improves health, balance and co-ordination and is a practical approach to stress relief and mindful awareness.

Your body has to last a lifetime so it makes sense to learn how to use it well.  Lessons in the Alexander technique can improve your awareness, balance, mobility and quality of movement. They also reduce pain without drugs, help you stand taller without effort and improve your general functioning (for life!) This is a gentle introduction to the AT using explanation, demonstration, games and group activities to show the principles involved. The course gives you a taste of the Alexander technique and helpful tips to take away. It is suitable for beginners and anyone wishing to refresh their AT skills. This gently-paced course uses explanation, guided activities, discussion and lying down to explore the principles involved. Please wear comfortable clothing.

"Shibashi (meaning 18 in Mandarin and pronounced "sher baa sher") is a series of 18 energy-enhancing exercises that co-ordinate movement with breathing and concentration.

It is a gentle, beautiful and flowing Tai Chi Qigong exercise routine that is both a joy to do and deeply relaxing for people of any age.

The overall effect of the exercise is to reduce mental stress and physical tension carried in the muscles of the body.

This Qigong is very effective and easy to learn. It is practiced around the world by over 10 million people, and is considered a national health exercise in Malaysia and Indonesia."

The Tai-Chi Qigong 18 movements is the fusion of the slow and even movements of Tai-Chi with the strength of continuous breathing and meditation of Qigong to induce effective benefits for your body and mind. Physical and emotional problems are washed away in the increased flow of the life energy of Qi. In this set, one will be learning to improve the balance, co-ordination and flexibility of the body,  to produce increased stamina. In this set, there is more dynamic movement of the feet while standing. In case of any contraindications, please consult with your GP before enrolling.
