Flexible Accommodation
The accommodation includes two attractive lounges, overlooking the beautiful gardens, and a Quiet Room. The twice-daily Quiet Times are held in the Quiet Room, which also houses the Joanna Harris library, centred round the themes of healing and Quaker spirituality. The main lounge has a piano and the smaller lounge has a music centre. There is no television.

There are twelve bedrooms in the house, nearly all with their own washbasin and drinks-making facilities. Four of the rooms are on the ground floor; two are in a unit that is purpose-built to suit those with disabilities.
Claridge House is not a hotel, so we are unable to provide extras such as newspapers and room service. As we are a retreat house we do not take children. To maintain a healing atmosphere, neither smoking nor alcohol is allowed in the House.
Meals
Well-balanced, delicious, mainly
organic, vegetarian and vegan food. All meals are vegetarian. Vegan and certain special diets are catered for, provided the request is included at the time of making a reservation. Full board is provided, which includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea (with home-made cakes) and evening meal.
Under the National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, we have achieved the maximum score of 5 - 'Very Good'. This demonstrates a 'very high standard of food safety management and compliance with food hygiene legislation'.
